Hello,

Well, Rose certainly has been keeping us busy. We had her implant (the external part) adjusted and she's doing heaps better with wearing it. She is really starting to identify some of the things that she hears. It's very exciting for us. We were getting very frustrated with it, because she just wouldn't wear it, but the new mapping (adjusted programing) has made all the difference in the world. We are back on track.

We have taken her to Wheeler Farm a few times lately, and man, oh man, does she ever love it there. The first time that we went we thought that the large animals would frighten her, but once again, Rose proves us wrong. She was delighted with them! She loved the cows and horses, pigs and sheep. She showed no fear at all, being the little thrill seeking daredevil that she is.

We went again today, and we tried to take a few pictures for you. We are having a bit of camera trouble, so we just don't have all the shots that we'd like to share with you, but here are a few .

Its hot here! Not like super hot, just unseasonably hot, we went from mid spring to mid summer way to quick and its killing us! It makes sleeping hard, and being awake hard, and waking up hard and falling asleep hard. Makes drinking soda really easy though.




Rose is over her cold, although she is teething pretty hard now, she is taking it well. Better than Tiff and I. I'm looking around this room and she has *trashed* it. She is amazingly destructive, if you put her on the floor she will go for the most dangerous thing in the room and DESTROY it. The only cure for this is the Teletubbies, but honestly who wouldn't find a giant headed goon with a television in his belly and a purse distracting.

Hello! Yes, we're still here. Rose is pretty much walking now, so Ben and I are busier than ever! She is out of the frying pan and into the fire. It seems that she can now reach everything in the house, and can get away in a flash! Ben and I are spending ALL of our time chasing her.

She does love going out, though, and almost always behaves like an angel whenever we are away from home. It's her little joke on us. Everyone thinks that she's just the most well behaved little darling that there is. No one ever sees what she's like at home... LOL.

We went to the wedding of some friends last weekend. Here's what a little sweetie she was.



Adorable, huh? Well, I suppose I have to agree with the adorable thing. But, I have to say that Rose can throw a temper tantrum par excellence! You see the darling in the photo, and it's easy to think that she would never fling herself on the floor, kicking her feet, flailing her arms about, screaming and going red faced. But I'm here to tell you that she can and she does.

I will say that she has stopped screaming all the time for no reason other than to feel herself scream. That's a LOVELY change. And seeing my friend's baby at the wedding last week reminded me of the struggle we had with napping, and now she naps beautifully. We really are lucky.
