The weather gods are up to it again! The storms come(apparently), and then go around us! At least thats what the weather people on tv say.

I'd like to slap the weather gods...I wonder what it would be like to slap a god, I think it would tingle a bit, until you got slapped back...

Rose is happy to have her ears back, I think. She is struggling with it a little, we've had to both fall back one level and turn the volume down. A bummer I know, but it can't be helped. Cochlear messed up the shipment *again*, sending *another* $3700 part instead of the part we needed. The people here are great though, and it was sorted by the next day.

We've been watching the news about the VA tech shootings, our hearts and thoughts go out to the victims and families. It seems tragic to think we only notice the heroes, the people we seem to need more and anyone these day, when we lose them.

I'm rambling today, Rose is behind me banging on a pot...good for her, bad for my head.

A favorite toy update today. She loves her xylophone, and a toy phone that lights up and speaks. Her car toy is the giraffe from Arthur and Kerry. We have a broken jack-in-the-box, we've been looking for a new one without luck. Its odd how they seem to have been dropped from stores, Rose would love a new one *hint* *hint*. =)

Wow, been a while, rough few weeks I guess. Rose had her implant controller(outside part) stop working, and she was sick, so she hasn't been using it nearly as much as she should, and its a setback, but we'll manage.

The weather guys have been predicting storms for a while now, but it seem the only time they can predict a storm is when they're walking through it, and even then its 50/50.....dopes. A storm would be great, nice cleaning rain, cool and wet.

Rose got her easter dress, I'll admit its nice, girly but nice. Not that I want her to be manly or anything, just maybe not quite so....frilly.

She is walking better and better all the time and can walk from one person to another without help now, she is making great progress on all fronts now, except the the implant, but that can't be helped.
